# Connect to Claude Code

> How to add Bridger as an MCP server in the Claude Code CLI with a single command — about 1 minute.

In Claude Code, register Bridger as an MCP server with one `claude mcp add` command,
then authenticate via browser OAuth.

  <Step title="Add the MCP server">
    Run in your terminal:

    ```bash theme={null}
    claude mcp add --transport http bridger https://mcp.bridger.kr/mcp
    ```

  <Step title="Authenticate with OAuth">
    Launch `claude`, type `/mcp`, and select `bridger`. Choose **Authenticate** — your
    browser opens the Bridger sign-in (Google · GitHub) and consent screen.
    Click **Allow** to finish.

  <Step title="Start using it">
    Once authenticated, ask for Korean public data right inside your Claude Code session.

    ```

## Troubleshooting

    Select `bridger` in `/mcp` and run **Authenticate** again to re-authenticate.

    Some public-data APIs need your own service key. Add it under **My service key** in the
